WRCA BACKDATED ??

hi, I have been on Universal Credit for about 4 years & working part time after losing my job due to Covid .
late 2021 I started to have really bad Neck & Back Pain later on Bouts of Sciatica but I was still actively seeking employment, all symptoms have progressively worsened since mid 2022 & have been providing continuous Fit Notes to UC from my GP for Chronic back pain & Sciatica & deemed unfit for work .. it has transpired after CT & MRI SCANS (suspected cancer related reasons) IN July 2024 that I have Cervical,Thoracic & Lumbar Disc degeneration. Diagnosed finally with Ankylosing Spondylosis & Scoliosis that I have had since 2022. My payments were suspended in 2023 because I didn’t fill in capability for work form which I swear I didn’t receive , at that time my fit note was for 1 yr .. long story short I had a capability for work assessment at Marble Arch in September 2024 (I actually requested one in feb 2023) so they could see the trouble I’m having . I have since been awarded WRCA . Prior to this on my UC which when my housing was deducted left me £180 & it was HELLish!!
i spoke to a social worker because my mental health was starting to suffer & she suggested I could get a back payment ? Is this true or possible ??

1/ Was this your first work capability assessment?

2/ What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?

3/ What date do you usually receive your money each month?

4/ Did you continue to provide fit notes without any gaps right up until the decision was made?

25th of every month

Constant fit notes from 17/03/2023 provided for same problem up to currrent
