Hello dear ,
I had a pip telephone assessment for about 2 hours then it's been a 5 weeks I'm still waiting and 2 weeks ago I got letter they said we have all information we need you don't need to contact us .
So is taht normal 5 weeks waiting period?
people said usually if your result was negative they would have said it after 2 weeks.
should I be positive about it!

Decisions can take up to 12 weeks after the assessment report was returned. There’s no timescales after that letter. Once a decision is made you will be contacted.
It doesn’t mean anything other than you’ve had no decision yet.

Has your friend had a decision letter yet? That seems extremely quick to actually have the decision on the same day as the assessment. Only a decision maker from DWP can make the decision.
