Hi, my name is Enduring_Rogue! Does anyone have experience with Maximus Restart in Sheffield?

I found this community while searching for info about Restart scheme and Work Capability Assessments.

1. I am awaiting a decision on my PIP claim

2. I am unemployed since August '24, on Fit Notes since mid Oct '24.

3. I was sent the WCA questionnaire (UC50) last week and taking my time filling it in.

4. Had a "warm handover" to Restart Scheme today with an induction face to face on Monday. This is mandatory, or they sanction me!

Can anyone tell me what I will be expected to do? I will have at least 2 meetings a month, plus usual Jobcentre work coach calls. This is all a bit much and has already set back my mental health. Does anyone have experience with Maximus Restart in Sheffield? I am hoping someone can tell me 🤞

Hi @Enduring_Rogue welcome to the community! That seems like quite a big move, I can understand why you feel the way you do. Hopefully it is just the first meeting in person, and the 2 meetings a month can be done remotely if needed. I haven't had any experience myself, but hopefully there'll be some members on the forum who have, and can share their experience.
