LCWRA payment date - Hi I was awarded lcwra from 9th September with a three month waiting period...

Hi I was awarded lcwra from 9th September with a three month waiting period, The assessment period was 8th January to 7th February due to to be paid on 14th February, do you know if I'm owed any back pay, thanks in advance.

Hi @greyfox48 and welcome to the online community 🙂 These payments tend to be backdated to 3 months after your initial fit note submission. You can appeal for backdated payments. If you do, I wish you all the best with this process.

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
Often the AP that the first Fit Note was handed in is excluded as it doesn't count as a full AP.
If the decision is made quickly within that waiting period, no backpay would be due.
