PIP Re-Assessment

This morning I received my award letter following my re-assessment, I use to receive standard rate of both Daily Living & Mobility. The original date of the re-assessment was April 24, however this was extended to July 25, I actually had a telephone assessment 23/01/25.
I have now been awarded standard living and enhanced mobility. I have only been awarded from 29/01/2025 & not from the original date of the re-assessment or the date of the telephone assessment, I did contact DWP last for a review as my mobility had worsened but was told that any change to the rates of pay would be from April 24 and that a further review was not required.
Is this correct? Do I need to chase this up with them, as the date 29/01/2025 the start of my increased rate upper to have been pulled out of thin air

Are you usually paid on a Wednesday?
The Decision Maker has discretion about when to start the increased PIP award from.
If you are paid on a Wednesday it seems the decision is applied to the next payment day following the telephone assessment.
If you are unhappy you can request a Mandatory Reconsideration of the decision they made on when they start the new award from.
If the decision is unchanged you have the option of taking it to an independent appeal tribunal.

Thank you I am paid on a Wednesday, that makes more sense, I will be asking for a Mandatory Reconsideration
