Esa managed migration University credit bank statements

Hi all,I was wondering if anyone has an answer for me please so I'm on esa support group and i have called esa to report savings i have to send them bank statements my question is it's going or take some time and I will have to migrate to U/C when i get the letter would this mean that I will have to send all these bank statements to U/C too ? Or will it be that esa will sort it out and sort the over payment ir will i have to start all over again for U/C any help will be grateful x

When you migrate to UC as part of the application process, you need to declare how much money you have.
Any capital over £6000 and they will likely ask for bank statements, after the UC application has been submitted.

Thank you @Kimmy87 yes i will tell them straight away citizens advice is going to help me migrate over does that mean basically I will have to send all these years statements again from what I'm sending esa and do it all again with U/C Or just the 4 months statements ? Sorry to be pain im struggling with all of this

4 months worth of statements is for the random claim checks. I don't actually know what statements they'd ask for if you have over £6000 when applying. I wouldn't have thought they'd want years worth but I'm not sure.
With ESA they are tracking the overpayment, whereas for UC it'll be a brand new application. So different situations.

@kimmy87 aww ok thank you yes i called esa to tell them and they said to try go back as far as I can so they can find out from when so they can sort overpayment out hoping U/C i don't have to do it all again 🙏 thank u for you quick response very much appreciated.
