I think I've been receiving both IB and CB ESA. Help!

I am in the process of migrating to universal credit. I always absolutely assumed I have been receiving income based esa and contribution based just never applied to me.
I get £318.10 every 2 weeks. I am in the support group.
Just now I stumbled upon a post on Reddit which now makes me believe I have been getting both ib and cb simultaneously.
In it the guy mentions something about receiving a p60 type document about tax or something, once a year. I can't be sure, but I think I might have.
The other clue is that he said those (only) on cb get the Christmas bonus. I got £328.10 the first week in December.
I thought I was just going to be migrated to uc and lcwra. Now I don't know. The post I came across mentions something about being on uc and new-style esa.
This is stressing me out. I thought I would now just be paid monthly.
Can someone please enlighten me.

Do you also get PIP?
That also qualifies for a Christmas bonus.
A P60 would indicate your ESA is part CB based yes.
This thread here has the information on what happens when someone on CB +IR ESA migrates to UC:

@hughie1 Hi I have just found out the same thing I've been in IR ESA Support Group them upon UC migration I found out mine was part CB ESA and that part will be going into New Style ESA and IR part of the ESA goes into UC calculations. This has been one of my hurdles to get over as I couldn't get anything confirmed in relation to this since Nov 24. The people on Scope I've found to be the best advice given on my part anyways and I wouldn't have known anything but reading the comments on here.

Pip, no. Only esa.
Any idea why I was on both IB and CB?
Thank you.

If you ever worked, or never worked and claimed either the old Incapacity Benefit or ESA under special youth rules.

Unless your ESA is partly contributions based, you won't be claiming New Style ESA, only UC. I didn't know mine wasn't fully Income Related, until I was told during my follow up call from the Jobcentre. I refer to the call you receive after attending the i.d appointment.

What is difference

I don't know that it makes any difference, Catherine, the NS ESA is deducted in full from my UC. I didn't have a choice, the cb part of ESA isn't included in the migration, only the IR part.

It's paid fortnightly, isn't means tested, and NI credits are Class 1 which can sometimes count towards other CB benefits.

If you got a migration letter then you have to move over.
Either your ESA is wholly or partially Income Based, or it's wholly CB and you are claiming another legacy benefit such as Housing Benefit.
Unfortunately the ESA letters are very difficult to understand, even for experienced advisors.
The only way to know for certain is call them and ask.
