I been reading about Newstyle esa not apart of uc I'm in support group with the top up I hope I get new style esa

Well I just like the bit that it's not part of uc obviously get less but I don't care don't want to be apart of uc just wondering how much less it is than uc hope my message makes sense

If any of your ESA is Contributions Based then you will get New Style ESA. Unfortunately ESA letters are very difficult to understand even for experienced advisors. The only way to know for sure what type your ESA is to call them and ask.
Housing Benefit is one of the legacy benefits ending, so unless you live in supported or sheltered housing, you will need to claim UC to pay your rent via Housing Element.
