When was everyone’s first review after claiming UC and how long was it, I’ve seen different information online.

Hi!
For me, just under 3 1/2 years, still waiting for the outcome & that's from end of January.

Thank you Jessie. Just really paranoid/anxiety with these things.

You're welcome, @SM9346
For me, the first call was just to tell me what was going to happen, the 4 months statements to be sent, along with ID. Had an email stating the same. Luckily had my yearly statement come through so I got the 4 months uploaded & with the ID sent just after to get it out of the way, but you get a couple of weeks to do it in. I think it was the 27th January I sent it & have heard nothing since. Yes, nervously waiting for the next call, it doesn't make you feel great, even with nothing to hide, treated like criminals, albeit, politely.

What’s going to happen on the 26th March?

It's the spring statement by the chancellor. Basically, what spending cuts will be made & to what, supposedly to help public finances & grow the economy. It's the cuts that are being talked about, but, as I said, avoid the news until that evening, when we will know for sure what they have planned.

There's tons of triggering articles all over the news. They keep coming up in my feed. Really need to try and switch off.

So when actually is this Green Paper due? Does anyone know!

According to The Guardian
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is due to publish a green paper on welfare in the coming days, before Reeves’s statement.

Yes, it seems folks are being bombarded & most will be fake news. That's why I don't have anything to my phone & I don't watch or read news, plus I don't do any social media, only here. It's hard, on top of all the problems we already live with, having all the uncertainty doesn't help. Try switching off & finding something to take your mind in a different direction & to relax.
