ESA deduction from first UC assessment period confusion

Hi there.
It's my first post here so I hope I can get some advice please. I recently migrated from ESA in the support group with child tax credit also if that's relevant. My first assessment period is 03/02/25 to 02/03/25. I always assumed I was on IR ESA but it turns out I was on CB ESA which will continue which is fine. I know it will be fortnightly of £276.40 which will be deducted from my UC at £598.78 each month which I know works out the same when you take into account payment dates fortnightly & monthly etc so that's okay.
My concern is I received the ESA run on payment on 11/02 of £481.10 which was my usual payment previously. But on the 25/02 I received another ESA payment of £349.52. My first assessment period shows I'll be deducted £598.87 which makes sense going forward with the new CB ESA figures I mentioned above but for this month I don't see they arrived at this figure. In my UC journal they told me to contact ESA as they say ESA have provided them with wrong info and that's why 'my payment hasn't been active'. I don't even understand what that means. I did ring ESA & was advised they provided all the correct info? I am just so confused. If anybody could shed some light id really appreciate it. Sorry for the essay I just find it all so confusing.

If they decide there is a small overpayment due to the second ESA payment you received of £349.52 then they will likely pick this up in your next assessment period and contact you about repayments. If you are able, I would suggest putting this money aside just in case.
