I am writing to inquire about the back pay for my LCWRA (Limited Capability for Work-Related Activity) claim. Here are the details of my case:

• I initially applied for LCWRA on April 6, 2022, but my claim was rejected.

• I appealed the decision and was accepted for LCW (Limited Capability for Work) on April 8, 2022. However, I did not receive any payments at that time.

• I appealed again and attended a tribunal on March 6, 2025, at which I was informed that I had been found eligible for LCWRA.

Could you please clarify:

• From what date will my back pay for LCWRA be calculated.or am I'm eligible for back pay?

Will it be from my original application date (April 6, 2022), the date I was accepted for LCW (April 8, 2022), or from the date of the tribunal decision (March 6, 2025)?

Your backpay should date to April 8th, but with the normal three full assessment period waiting time for LCWRA.

So around August/September 2022.
