Hi, my name is stevie26! Have to move home in 8 weeks, what can I do?

Hello everyone,
I would like to say thanks for allowing me to join this site.
My partner and I are splitting up and I need to move out of the home in 8 weeks. Iām disabled and on pip and UC and currently under the mental health team.
I will be homeless very soon.
I suffer with severe heart failure and mental health issues and on the list for a heart pacemaker and finally a heart transplant.
What if anything can I do to find a place to live as there is a deadline to my current situation.
Iām at my whits end!

Hi @stevie26, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear about your situation, that sounds really stressful. It would be a really good idea to do as billsal advised and get in contact with your local council's housing team to see if they can offer you anything.
You might also like to speak to a housing adviser. Advice Local have a directory to search: Advicelocal
Shelter are great if you're facing homelessness too, they should be able to provide some advice and support.
Housing advice from Shelter - Shelter England
Hope you can find a way forward soon š
