Hello, stressed about losing PIP

Hello Everyone
As like everyone, I'm ultra stressed about loosing my pip. Was awarded it 2019 for 3 years, but with covid the renewal was on hold till the world became safe ish again. My renewal was meant to just cover what I had already mentioned before instead it was a phone call lasting over 4 hours, the assessor asked me everything in various ways so many times, my poor head wanted to explode. Wasn't a renewal but a full interigation but was awarded full mobility and care cover for ten years. Assessor wasn't impressed husband had to leave half way through as he had pre booked appointment but we didn't think would last that long,
I have FND so have all the symptoms of Parkinsons, MS, Sezures often of every form I had the symptoms of a stroke Christmas husband called ambulance even they thought was stroke but once at hospital was told its a symptom of FND, I also have Fibromyalgia and Essential tremor
Now I read labour won't be increasing pip yearly and even stopping it for thousands
If true as I cant work what any more I don't know what to do

Hi and welcome to the community.
It is very unlikely you will lose your pip because you got a ten year award so they have accepted how much your disabilites affect you.
We will know more regarding benefit reforms on 26th March when the government make an official announcement.

Hi @Freedom2Waffle, welcome to the community. It's not an easy time with all that's going on in the news. We still don't fully know what will be happening for certain, but hopefully we'll learn more towards the end of March, as luvpink mentioned.
I'm really sorry you're feeling so stressed out about it, but you're not alone in how you're feeling. We understand what it's like, so please just vent away if you feel like you need to rant about things. 💜
