@charlie72 Not at all! There was nothing wrong with the link you posted. Sometimes you just have to go to the end of the link address you've copied and press space to get the system to recognise it properly, it's a pain sometimes!

Thanks for sharing it with everyone!

He has also now been on tv this morning with his usual distraction tactics over NHS England being abolished. His attempts at misdirection are pathetic, I did better at my 9th birthday party doing magic tricks!! He wants to avoid the negative press he's been getting over these cuts to put a different headline in the media, one of hope, and how great he's doing, what a plonker he is, and he's certainly not fooling myself, and no doubt others on here.

Everyone is talking about it being 'unfair', it's more then 'unfair', it's not like those on disabilities benefits are 'partying' and living the 'high life'. Lets take food, we know there is a 'cost of living crisis', we know disabled people will have to make choices, food being one of them. This is what the United Nations says on food:

Just twitter, or is there a blog or videos as well? I seen another doctor talking about this on tiktok, and is against the cuts, but I think its only a one off video for her as she usually is a mixture of topics.
The nice thing is on her tiktok video, is the usual people claiming false stuff, and she is correcting them all in replies given her occupation.

Your right, and after 14 years labour have learned NOTHING.

    The fight goes on.

Welcome to politics, changes are always justified with the word "most" put in front of vulnerable/sick/disabled. To try and mask that they moving the goal posts. I of course completely agree with you, its sickening to pretend someone suddenly is cured just because of cuts.

Evelyn, I'm going through the exact same thing. I'm worried but the worry invariably gets replaced with bitter anger. Like we asked to be either incapacitated mentally or physically, I've read this from other people, they would give all the benefits back if their physical or mental incapacities/disabilities were gone.

The money is a life line, it's rest bite from the living hell many people who are disabled/incapacitated go through.

Hi everyone. Tori from our campaigns team has just shared a new form to send an email to your MP in case anyone is interested: Get your MP to act against cuts. I've added the link to the first page of this discussion too.

Jeremy vine's radio 2 show was talking about welfare cuts today.

It is right at the start of his show just after the first track (diana ross) You can skip forward through the track. Quite interesting.

The biggest issue which I feel needs the most focus is the eligibility changes to PIP, as anyone affected by that will be hit extremely hard. They will delay the planned changes to as late as possible as it makes it harder for them to be challenged.

Kendall should have crossed the house years ago. Even when I was still working I remember some of her policies and sound bites were well to the right. It’s her billion pounds going to local job coaches!!😂 that’s the laugh out loud bit. DWP would have to sack all their staff in my area, they’re burn out, hostile and unresponsive.

We could do with more people like yourself on ourside(which you undoubtedly are anyway) as you probably have more knowledge of how to get the governments attention, as in protests etc to make them, or give them little choice to hear our concerns. They seem to hate negative press, for obvious reasons, and the backlash these proposals are having on Keir Starmer and his looney party are not going down well at all with him, or his lackies, Reeves, Kendall, Timms etc.

It just seems the louder we are shouting about these cuts, the more they are shutting us down, and making out we're the problem and not them. I agree with you, Iv'e gone from blind panic, to now being enraged at Starmers constant disregard for us, and his nonchalant attitude.

I too read the interesting article in Disability News Service, it put my mind at rest a bit knowing we have great people, activists, and some Labour mp's like John Mcdonnel on our side. Its a worthwhile read, if anyone wants to look at it iv'e put the link below(hopefully this link works okay this time!!)
