Migration to UC date

If my final migration date to apply for universal credit is on the 7th may can I make the claim on the 6th may or is it to late I'm dreading claiming coz I'm currently on ESA and pip due to mental health issues and I don't want to have to attend a jobcentre interview my next health assessment for both ESA and pip is not due until 2027 but I was just wondering if leaving it untill the day before the final migration date is too late?
