UC never told me to submit any fit notes!

I started my UC claim in 2020, by 2022 I had my hours dropped until eventually my work was admiral enough to put me onto a zero hour contract, this was due to ongoing health issues, I declared this and received no contact from UC at all. In 2023 I declared more health issues that have unfortunately come up still nothing from UC about fit note/s. In August 2024 my partner became redundant and so received lump sum which of course was shared with UC. Now UC have got in touch with both of us to have a review of our bank statements, which is fine. Oct 2024 had to attend job centre told work coach about why I'm not in work and my ongoing health issues and how I already declared all of this and noone has asked me for a fit note so I did not think I needed to provide one as even though I was technically still employed but UC would have seen there was no work done from 2022. I finally received the uc50 form on Friday 14/3/25 when I was told back in October 2024 I was being sent it. The work coach admitted it was UC policy to ask for fit notes. Am I in the right to ask for some sort of compensation?
Many thanks

Thank you, made the complaint to DWP in Feb of this year, didn't hear for over a month, then I wrote in my journal everything I wrote in the complaint and the next day the work coach called me and asked what I would like from the outcome and I replied maybe some kind of compensation and she told me to contact payments through my journal, which I did, so I'm just waiting now.
