Esa (ir/cb) to uc migration. Completed online form 2 days ago. Inadvertently clicked the button which says I can't confirm id online. Then in to do list it said "we'll call you." Today I was anticipating call. Nothing. Logged into account now and it says under to do what I wrote in the title.

Under the options for id I need to bring I think I may struggle.

"Proof of identity

Bring 1 of the following:"

All I have here is a ten years expired passport. It says "recently expired" in the list so don't know if this will suffice.

I have a provisional licence which I recently renewed for this purpose. But in this list it only mention "full" license.

I don't have anything else in the list.

"Bring 2 of the following:"

I might have birth certificate but I am not sure.

"Debit or charge card (if not provided)"

I was going to use my debit card for the next category which asks me to prove my bank details. So not sure if I can use it in this category?

Mentions provisional licence here.

Also mentions bank statement but I don't want them to see in my bank. I value my privacy. Yes I know they ask for it during review. I'm not comfortable bringing it down to job centre people.

I don't have anything else on the list.

In summary I have the following:

A "not-recently" expired passport.

A provisional drivers licence.

The letter that comes with the provisional licence.

Maybe a birth certificate if can find it.

Debit card.

Benefits letters.

Opticians appointment letter.

P60 since I'm on CB and IR esa.

UC migration letter.

Are these things going to be enough?

What should I do?

And any way to move the appointment forward so I can get this over with?

Hi @hughie1, if you have access to your journal, you could try posting a message to ask whether your ID would be acceptable.

If you don't have enough ID, they are sometimes able to do what's called a 'biographical' ID check which asks you questions about your life to confirm your identity, so that may be an option if you're not able to provide the documents they're asking for. If you can speak to your work coach about what you've got available then hopefully they can clear things up for you.

Hope you can get things sorted okay!
