I definitely need a LOTR marathon soon, I've not done that in many years. Maybe tomorrow will be that day? 😆

thank you @Rosie_Scope . I’m sure there’s some fishy agenda on the menu as the love keeps pouring all of a sudden-massages, pampering and much more. I know the pattern . 😝

This thread is a great idea @Meg24! I watched a lot of Criminal Minds after work last night, while playing sudoku on my phone 🙂 It's nice and sunny where I am today too, as it was yesterday, so I'm going to get out for some fresh air at lunchtime.

    Take care all ❤️

I was so exhausted fro lack of sleep lately, I fell asleep on my sofa for a couple of hours and it was sheer bliss.

    Nice distraction for a while.

I hope you get plenty use out of your bike, WhatThe. 👍️

Ranald, I do in all weathers and love being outdoors. I like the speed and it's easier on my legs and feet than walking and carrying bags, I discovered in my 50's! We can build muscle well into our 80's and 90's and mine are much stronger now.

BTW, did you ever see my question to you about your time with Andrew Neil? If not I will dig it out.

    Thanks

I'm sitting around feeling sorry for myself. I don't usually. I've had cellulitis for the past ten days, got antibiotics but it's taking some clearing. So painful! Has anyone else had it? Wondering if anyone's got any ideas as to geeing up the healing process. For want of a better way of describing it it feels like my lower leg and foot have been scalded

Apart from it being a beautiful day on the 18th, I woke from a nightmare (had another last night) and a dentists appointment for a filling.. Walked back feeling a bit shaky..And really feeling crappy all day..

Landscape photo on the 18th.. The rest on after a trip to the lab to deliver my blood samples…

I feel drained this evening.. Hoping my blood results will show any indicators.. Low iron again.. maybe..

    Yep! back in 2009.

Had a nasty episode that led to blood poisoning!

    Fluxacillion -augmentin drip.

The leg was roasting hot, red in colour, that was misshapen from knee to toes.

Took a while to get over that and in truth have never really felt that i fully recovered; as i went onto have a few smaller bouts the proceeding yrs; but nowhere near that level.

When I say I feel I never fully recovered, i mean it in the sense that I feel it really took something out of me..or maybe the blood poisoning did something long-lasting.

That sounds horribly familiar Middleton. Did you get the horrible blisters too? I've got fluxacillin, I'm wondering if they're working well for me. Seem to be taking a long time to take effect. When I think back ,penicillin didn't help my Dad, wondering if I'm the same? Never had anything like this in my life before. And don't want it again!

You obviously know a lot more than me! Dodgy syrup - whisky?

I enjoyed Sunday Politics and JoCo. I may have seen that episode. I think
