Just about to watch a film.

My distraction is refurbishing/restoring antique/vintage oil lamps…..I get to do a lot of it especially since the huge "announcement" this week. Today I did some as normally don't on a Sunday and then will be playing Guild Wars 2 while watching Inspector Morse!
Here my most recent 'large' projects…..a Hinks No. 2 Duplex with etched globe and clear reservoir/font on a Hinks Brass corinthian column and stepped base.

Been out today.
Its cold but the sun was out.
Going to a meeting tonight then catch up with the soaps later.

Overall about 20 hours as I completely **** down the burner, put it (the burner) through an ultrasonic cleaner, then use a dremel for reminder of cleaning and polish. Then I move onto the brass on the reservoir/font, the column and base. I also do a deep but gentle clean of the reservoir/font, flue/chimney and the shade no matter what kind it is.
I normally have up to 5 projects on the go due to the various steps.
