hi . my council housing said i could stop paying them £70 a mth for my 3rd bedroom as my disabled daughter and has a carer stay to help 2:-3 days week . next thing the universal credit has take. £70 off my benefit to pay the housing with it . ..i’ve rang the uc and asked why and they just keep saying . because they’re paying the rent for me . but they was paying the rent before . so now i’m £70 out of pocket still a month. the housing said i can stop paying. then the uc took it off me? i’m confused thank you .
