Please can someone tell me if I will receive the same amount of benefit towards my rent on migration as before.
Thanks.

The LHA rates are the same, so the basic amount of Housing Element on UC should be the same as the basic amount of Housing Benefit with ESA.
There are some differences with the way that spare bedrooms are calculated so that can change the amount on UC where applicable.

Thank you.
Yes my council don't charge me bedroom tax due to me being on ESA so I guess I am going to have to pay that now then?
There really is no good news is there 😞

There are circumstances where an extra bedroom can be paid for by UC
You would need to request this after claiming UC.
