hi does anyone know what happens to pip and UC LCWRA if you go into hospital long term ? I don’t understand the 28 day rule .
if you have inpatient hospital treatment Mon - fri and go home every weekend and this treatment goes on for months , do benefits stop ?

I believe that UC LCWRA is not affected by hospital admissions. PIP is subject to the 28 day rule. If you are in hospital for 28 days your PIP payments will be suspended. The day on which you are admitted and the day on which you are discharged aren't counted. The 28-day period is cumulative, meaning separate stays in hospital with gaps of 28 days or less, are added together.
