edited March 20 in Universal Credit (UC)

Hi all bit of a long post as I find it hard to explain.

So on the 26th November 2024 I issued a fit note until the 26th may 2025 to universal credit.

I was assessed by telephone on the 6th of March and awarded LCWRA.

Before this award I received transitional protection payments although I know they will take off the £416 I think it is from the transitional payment and I'll still receive the same amount as I did before ect.

I'm just now wondering if I'd be entitled to any backdated payments for LCWRA as it went past the 3months before I was assessed and awarded LCWRA it's very confusing when I read up on Google. Thanks

What date did you report the health condition?

What is your Assessment Period date?

I can estimate a timeline, but if your Transitional Protection exceeds the LCWRA amount, you won't see any financial gain including backpay (if eligible).

You won't be financially any better off even if there was backpay due.

As within your overall award TP will reduce to £120 for each month (after the waiting period) LCWRA is put into payment.

It's pointless me doing a timeline in this case.
