Hi all, I've recently bought a 2nd hand Green Power Unique 500, it's not been looked after either. Had to buy new batteries, new charger (wasn't the correct one!), needs a left hand rear wheel arch(zip tied together), new rear/brake bulb holder(melted for some reason and can't find a replacement anywhere, GP far too expensive), needs a new "U" light on the front, Needs a new seat cover, oh god i'm wondering why i bought it now ha ha, oh yeah i got him down to £130 :) . I've been reading the the threads about how to wrangle the EU speed out of it and am gonna have a look at doing it. I think i've got a 1st gen as the website pictures and parts catalogue look different. Wow! this turned out big!!!

Hi @BlueMac, welcome to the community. ☺️ I'm really pleased some of the posts have been helpful - wish you all the vest with the changes (just remember the warranty might be effected).

Thank you, yeah I understand about the warranty, if I had one :) :) :) , It's all good though, I'm an ex mechanic and have a BTEC in electrical engineering as well.

The legal imit for class 3 scooters in the UK is 8mph. What happens if you run someone over at nearly twice that speed?

I have insurance in case I have an accident, I doubt t they would be impressed if I doctored my scooter to do 15mph.
