Welfare cuts and JC

It's the same argument.
Too many people 1000 a day qualify for PIP.. Too many people qualified for ESA so they changed that in 2015!!

The labour mp lied in the interview he said you can still get Health top up on universal credit (LCWRA) and PIP is separate.
In reality they are planning on combining the two so if you don't qualify for PIP after the new assessment you lose both. Or does he have no clue about his own policies at all.

I watched it and Darren Jones is on another planet.

The hands 🙄 what a farce. He was the nodding dog behind Reeves today.
Darren Jones MP - Chief Secretary to the Treasury. Lawyer.

We are doomed can't see charities saying anything what's the point of it all

I watched it too.
To argue against something you must first understand all aspects of it. Darren jones was like a rabbit caught in headlights.. absolutely stunned at his lack of insight re pip and uc health element.. Just another puppet mimicking what he thought he heard but was too uninterested to grasp the real concept of.

It was completely irrelevant to him, that their plans will push people deeper into poverty. He's a lawyer so he does understand the 2015/16 welfare reforms and was pretending not to. It's all rehearsed.

We're doing what we can. Just because we're not mentioning every meeting that happens, it doesn't mean we're not working hard behind the scenes. It's the same with other charities too. 😊
