Assets and Support Plan

I'm 27 years old born with Cerebral Palsy affecting mobility. I live will my parents. My parents are planning to buy the house and received Right to Buy Landlord offer. My parents are planning to add my name to this property. But I want to know if the council will count this house as my 'Asset' if my parents add my name? Because if it will, I'll tell my parents not to add my name to their house. I need the support plan in order to live my life as independently as possible because currently I'm studying at university and will do a job in future.

Apologies for the delay in replying to your question. If you are named on the title deed of the property, it would be considered an asset, which would be considered when calculating your support plan costs.
