    Hi @pooleemily29

I can completely relate to this predicament. I have right sided hemiplegia and have wanted to wear sandals like my friends. However I don't have the strength or balance to do this very well.

Thick wedge sandals were best for me, as long as my ankle was supported by a strap. But I could only wear these for short periods of time and there was a risk of me falling. I generally find summer trainers/daps from places like Next or Rocket Dog are best for me. Next also do a good range of wedge sandals if this helps.

I'd love to wear the latest fashion in shoes, but it's not always possible. Thankfully flat trainers are much more fashionable these days, so I embrace these and go for quirky designs.

I hope this helps. Good luck with the shopping.

@pooleemily29 I have to have back on my shoes too as slip ons make me loose my balance. I hope you find some that you like.
