Not A Good Time

My little dog had a stroke yesterday he is 15. Nothing more can be done for him. I have him at home at the moment where he sleeps a lot.

He is my best friend and companion always there for a cuddle. I am devasted.

    I've lost 7 dogs,I always had two-three together,now I've only one. Each one that got ill and subsequently went over the bridge took a part of my heart and soul. My jrt almost five yrs ago I had to nurse night and day as he had MND at the end, well, for 9-10 months. He couldn't even stand. Then my yorkie who was blind almost deaf had off the scale heart murmurs and bronchitis I lost him two years later, he was 16. One of my dogs another Jrt was only 5. He had the most extreme seizures ever witnessed. I gave them every chance ,all my dogs, they got all the medication, vet visits etc money could buy. Losing them is heartbreaking so I'm totally with you ,they are more than just pets. I hope you have your baby a bit longer. Some ppl don't realise they suffer from the same ills as us. I never get over their loss . Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you both.šŸ•‰ blessings sent up. Xx

    I'm sorry to read that @Bluebell21, I hope his end comes peacefully, for you & him. Every time we lose a little furry companion, it feels like a piece of our heart goes with them, so enjoy some cuddles with the little fella. šŸ¤—

I have felt that devastation when I lost my three (2016 and 2017) and my stomach sinks for your pain, it's literally gut-wrenching.
