Please help!!
Hello, I am new to this so please excuse any mistakes.
I have received a migration letter from HB to UC to be completed by 30th April.
I am a full time carer for my partner who has Spino Cerebellar Ataxia, I am also his Power of Attorney and deal with all of his benefit issues/finances for him. The claim for HB is in my name as it was easier for me to deal with it.
My concern is that no mention has been made of him migrating from the ESA Support group. I have received 2 letters from UC advising me that HB will end on the 30th, one in my name and one in his name, however, all communication from DWP for him is usually sent in my name as his POA. Does this also mean that UC do not recognise me as his POA whereas PIP and ESA do?? Basically what I am asking is do I have to claim UC for his ESA at the same time as trying to sort out the HB as well as having to re register the POA paperwork? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Neffinoo so sorry you didn't get an answer to this before the 30th. Have you managed to get it sorted in the end?
