I did the online UC migration form yesterday but I am quite stressed now. I've got a lot of pain in my neck today which is uncommon, I suspect that's due to stress and will pass eventually. The UC person replying in my journal mentions I have to log-in regularly and that a work coach will contact me. I made it clear I am in the Support Group so wasn't expecting this. It's a lot to cope with.

Here are recent comments added to my journal after application form completed. Please let me know if I need to be so worried.

*Messages are easier to read from bottom to top. I boldened main points.

Explaining Backdated payments

Hello, when filling out the online UC migration form there was a section about Backdated Payments. Your online form did not have a text box to add any notes.

I wanted to note that the Backdated Payments are included in the income savings section. I understand Backdated Payments are supposed to be disregarded for a year.

Around September last year I had backdated payments of £xxxx and £xxxx (total £xxxx this was the amount I added to Backdated Payments section). These backdated payments were for SDP Severe Disability Premium and PIP Personal Independence Payment.

I hope these Backdated Payments will not have a negative impact to the UC amount I will be receiving.

Thank you.

Hi xxxx,
yes as part of being on Universal Credit it is important that you log in every now and then to check if you have any to-do's outstanding on your account. A Work Coach will discuss further with you as the claim progresses.
Kind regards.

Hello, I followed migration notice letter moving from IR ESA to UC with transitional protection.

I am concerned because this UC site mentions to log-in regularly.

However, I am in ESA Support Group which is supposed to not require this.

Please let me know if there’s a problem.

Every claimant is expected to log in regularly.

Once your ESA status is confirmed (can take several weeks), your commitments will be to log in regularly and to keep them informed of any changes.
