Several members have had this question, unfortunately no one has ever come back to say what was and wasn't acceptable to UC in these circumstances.

I really don't think it's acceptable for them to scrutinise your transactions as well. I am appointee for my adult son. I have one joint bank account with him, purely for his benefits. Another joint building society acc with him, purely for his savings.
Then i have one joint account with my hubby which has no connection at all to our son's money, apart from the "keep/rent" money we take from our son from his back account each month.
This goes on regular standing order so is clearly marked.
And then i have my business account in my business name, again nothing to do with my son (or hubby)
And a personal account in my own name purely for my carer's allowance.
When my son's claim was called for review, i only sumitted statements for the the joint bank acc i have with him and the joint building soc acc i have with him.
I am expecting them to be doing a full review of his entire UC claim anytime now and i will not be expecting to submit any info from the acc i have with my hubby at all.
And i will be objecting if they ask for them!!
If your son's money is all mixed in with your own money of course, much trickier! I like everything seperate so it is very easy to account for all the transactions.
