With some Labour MPs criticism of the PIP reform that Labour want to ram down peoples throats its imperative that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet.If you haven't already sent in a email to Scope so they can pass it on or directly via the Government website write one today,sit down and reflect on how its going to affect you in the future and detail it as throughly as you can.
With its own MPs questioning it there is a definite window of opportunity to really push forward with how its going to affect not only us as individuals but as a collective.with new people needing help daily.
How is the daily element loss going to affect the majority of disabled people because of the new 4 point systen they want to enforce,many of us will score more than four points across that section which still needs financial help we wont have,it seems they want a large % of people off it completely, this is wrong on so many levels ,it shows a complete ignorance of an individuals needs and level of disability.
For those of you whose PIP is up for renewal in 2027/8/9 and so on is it fair that one day you are deemed to need help,the next day that help is deemed not required,not only that but in this economic hardship they are also deducting almost 50% of the weekly benefit for the daily living amount,with prices still rising how is this fair..You cant keep moving the goalposts on the disabled communities.
The Government are treating the disabled as a burden,fighting people who have no ammunition to fight back,this is the time to fight back,the only way we can ALL fight back is by how our disabilities affect us.
