They sent my brother an update via journal but did not inform him, important info

My brother is currently going through the process of migration
from ESA support group over to UC. they have asked a question that was answered
and even the local HB Unit were informed and fine about has this changed under UC?
My sister has her own home, owing to the condition we have (Genetic)
severe bleeds happen, My sister is fully trained the general rule is if the wounds bleed
more than 3 days its hospital or district nurses. After dad Died we let the local council know within 2 days of his death because it was something we had to plan for. As dad was fully trained also
She does not live here 100% We were open and honest. Without her popping in and out through the day alone it would be a care home.
So he checked his journal and they want more information about her staying
yet he told them the situation in the application also directing them to the
information provided to the local HB. under UC has this changed please?
Its a private rental and the "spare" room is the one she uses when staying over.
but I must stress she does not live here she has a family herself etc

Hi @Vulcress
They are stricter about people staying overnight under universal cedit even if they don’t live there. That’s why they’re asking for more details about your sister.
It should be okay if you reply clearly in the UC journal explaining she has her own home, only stays to help with medical care, and doesn’t live there or pay rent☺️

at 3:31 am he got an alert about an entry in the journal
the payments were nearly 700 ppm down, no transitional protection
no health element, after a very upsetting call at 8 am the CAB advisor told him
did he do the application online, he said when its my turn I had the invite letter on Saturday
did it over the phone, the website is BETA and people moving over from ESA Support group
and just having this same problem quite a few times, in the last hour UC got back to him
they are still waiting for his ESA details but they had calculated and sent everything out.
This is simply unacceptable they know how stressful this entire process is. do they even care? the helpline number on the migration letter was neither shocked or surprised
This has been the worst morning since Dad died.

As the number of migration letters has gone up, so too are the numbers of people ending up with an incorrect first statement.
Once ESA have confirmed his award and UC have processed the information, UC will re calculate his statement.
You'll know this has been done as a new version of the statement will be added, plus a letter on his Journal confirming the underpayment amount. The money will then be paid within a few working days.
From the next statement everything should be correct.
