I might just add this for clarity. There's a difference between following and obeying Christ and using religion to justify your own political or other views. That's aimed at no one because as yet I do not know anyone on here. I know that politics and religion can be a very intoxicating brew. My own attitude is quite simple. When it comes to a professed faith of any kind watch what a person does rather than what they say they do. You will know them by their fruits. I also remember as a practising Christian myself that nobody is perfect and no one gets it right all the time.

As for a political party for regular people, sadly I think they are all only concerned with the economically middle class and wealthy these days. The small parties are hobby parties or one-trick-ponies, the mainstream parties promise much but deliver very little if anything and we know what the Tories are, don't we??

There are no simple solutions and unfortunately I think our rulers and political masters are hell bent on following a neo liberal economy whatever the cost to the majority, as long as they can add further wealth to their ill gotten gains they just don't care.

In the context he used it which was in looking after the people of the USA as opposed to the globalist agenda I would say he used it perfectly . Because 1 Timothy 5-8 was clearly looking at the support of believers to believes . America was quoted as one nation under God , though this has faded somewhat in near history due to various agendas that we shall not mention . It still stands to reason as a leader or politician your first importance should be to the people you serve , which I, along with many others believe 1 Timothy 5-8 states .

Yes I'd never wish my conditions or any disability on anyone but I really do wish there was a way to make them all experience our struggles for a year or two and see how much work they get done or how they feel at the end of it.

Despite my ailments until 5 years ago I'd never claimed anything, I had built a successful business and was doing well. I developed several other chronic health issues and was pushing myself so much that eventually I couldn't cope my body literally shut down physically and mentally. My business had to close and I lost my future as I'd planned it, yet all those years paying taxes and never claiming are ignored because I need support. I'd swap anything to have a healthy body, heck I'd like to just pick two of my conditions and I'd still swap. Anything rather than the mere existence I have now.
