No LCWRA reassessment in 5 years

Hello,

I had my annual mental health check up at my GP's recently and the mental health nurse said something that worried me about my universal credit LCWRA status.

History: I was awarded UC LCWRA and PIP over 5 years ago for Psychosis and anxiety and was seeing CAMEO (mental health outpatients team in my area). While I was being helped by them I was told that the age group of people they treated was changing due to budgets cuts and that I was too old for their service.

At that time I put in for a reassessment for PIP because I was better able to look after myself and the PIP was then removed. After this Cameo put my care in the hands of my GP. Because My condition still prohibited me from being able to work I continued to receive LCWRA. Since then have not had anything other than two calls from Universal credit about changing bank account and recently a check on my financials. They only slip in the question is there any changes to report. I have never had a reassessment of my condition. Did Covid happening change whether I should have had a reassessment.

During my mental health check the nurse asked if UC were ok with me being under the care of my GP and it has started making me worry that I have done something wrong. Should I have reported the end of PIP to the Universal credit people despite it not affecting my condition for work. And if I should have then what do I have to do now?

LCWRA and PIP are different benefits with different criteria. One ending doesn't impact the other.

    Medical staff aren't benefits advisors.

Re assessments for the majority on LCWRA were stopped during Covid and have resumed in any great number.
