I don't know how to post it here sorry but if you Google 'Great Benefits Row' 11th April 2016 - Channel 4 Despatches
Re: undercover investigation into Capita.
It's similar to what I was told by a credible nursing colleague in 2021 from her recent experience who worked for c 6 months for one of the assessing companies. I can't recall which one. She was shown how to do shortcuts (assessing claimants prior to telephone call assessments, from the information available) cutting calls shorter so she could get through more assessments. Similar to the undercover report. She wouldn't do it and to get through her allocated number of assessments found herself working outside of her normal working hours to do it properly and fairly, so left. Extra payments were apparently made if Assessors exceeded their allocated minimum number of assessments (or so it was boasted to my colleague).
I rely though solely on my own experience. My Assessor did write many untruths despite 220 pages of very specific evidence (c 18 diagnoses at that point each affecting my daily functioning). The MR was not upheld with the DM agreeing with the Assessor. Went to Tribunal a year later and was awarded PIP with DWP forced to apologise by the Tribunal.
When it happens again at Review, I'll be reporting the Assessor to their Regulatory Body if there are any untruths. I don't expect they'll be penalised but I'll make sure I get their full name and qualification and I will report; and I'll record the call. There is much ado made about fraudulent claimants yet Assessor's can act with, it seems, total impunity.
I'm not suggesting all Assessors have no integrity but there are definitely too many that do and it causes real harm.

I had an ex family member work for them for a very short while . She posted the job perks from an advert on her fb wall filled with glee. It was at the time when that poor diabetic man was found dead in his flat with no food or electric after loosing his money was all over news . I couldn’t believe it when I seen her post ! I actually said how can you sleep knowing you may play a part in an ending like that poor mans ? I couldn’t help myself . She’s never spoke to me since and I don’t care she’s distant family . The ad was filled with perks to work for them . At least anyone going in to do it do
It for the right reasons . She was purely money orientated always has been . I’m not aware of any bonuses for knock backs by the way. Everyone needs to work if they can and earn a living . But to lie about somes life is immoral and so wrong .

yeh. they were two face lies. ,
he said to me. I'm writing down exactly what you say , and where I went,i up had to go up stairs 3 flights , which they took in to account ,then when I had my meeting with the tribruneral . they said , when I told them about me ,they it does not say that on the reports ,then she told me what the report said , there was no truth what's so ever in it. ,it was a fabricated work of lies. , I wish I could con front that man. , or better stilll let him live 1 week with my illness . but after 10 weeks of worrying , traumatic headaches I won the case. , so don't be afraid

She works for the nhs and was a pip assessor on her days off. She left because of the pressure to get claiments points down or award zero points no matter how sick they were.

@derekjohn glad it worked out for you, im just **** and so stressed, I don’t think I could last fighting for that amount even though it did help with bills, but i tend to get very overwhelmed and triggered by anxiety and panic, and I’m mentally drained.
