I agree with you . Yes it’s not a popular opinion but ours is not a choice as it getting older and needing the wfa isnt .

What about couples with both working and then one dies? They didn't plan for that. Or if they become disabled, as you say, we have no choice over what life throws at us? Do they hand back one of the three children they have and were comfortably supporting for 10 years? Bad luck happens out of the blue

To show that much hated to the vulnerable is awful, totally shameful them all Starmer, Reeves, and Kendall should not be in government

I agree with the cap but obviously special circumstances should apply in some situations.

I think we are in a better place than we were . I really think we need to keep our mental health in check but doing things to distract us. Worrying isn’t helping so I’m trying to chill a bit until we know more .

I think the government will win the vote. However I live in hope that these proposals will be watered down down the line. Any MP that abstains hopefully will lose their seat at the next General Election.

Well they need to know that to abstain equals losing their seat next election. I’ve emailed starmer ,rayner etc etc even my previous mp who’s labour and none reply . Before election starmers office were replying the usual protecting the disabled. And I was assured on the doorstep. Oh I cannot wait for them to dare knock on my door again.

From what I’ve read the only support Labour has is 5 Reform mps .

I know the MP's from my area are going to vote against it. I've also read in the Guardian that Rachel Reeves is facing anger from her local party over plans to cut disability benefits. It's an interesting read. I recommend you read it.

Hi , yes I read that . It’s as though everyone in the party can see the car crash happening but starmer , reeves and Kendall are enjoying the ride too much to stop

I hope they don't get it all there on way. They need to remember it's the electorate who put them in government and it's the electorate that can vote them out of government. Do you know the names of some of the MP's which are abstaining? I would like to email them voicing my concerns.

No I don’t know any names. It’s just something I read yesterday but can’t find it today strangely. I wonder if there’s any information on X or Tik Tok about who’s abstaining? I’m not on social media so I wouldn’t know
