Hi
I found the pip form much harder to complete.
To me it reads like they are trying to trip us up so that we fail to get an award.
If you google 'Citezen's advice pip claim'
I found that really helpful.

Just saw a clip on YouTube from good morning Britain that over a 100 MPs have signed the letter saying they cannot support the cuts , I still think what I thought from the beginning , that even if these cuts do go through there will have to be amendments because they will leave people destitute and suicidal , whatever way you look at them they just don't add up on any level whatsoever , they fall so short of even being acceptable , i mean it's like they've not looked at any statistics or figures whatsoever , how could they come to the conclusion these cuts would could work ?? You take 5000 to 9000 a year off people who are already struggling what do they think they will do , they know they could never get them all in to work , it's such a half baked amateurish attempt to look tough on welfare , thing is all of us know this already but now it's becoming public knowledge , could you imagine the chaos these cuts would cause if they were to go through as they are , what would they do just let people perish , this is great Britain for Christ sake , not a third world country.... It's beyond cruel , it's dangerous....the most worrying question is , are they that useless they don't realise , or more terrifying they don't care .... What would they do when people couldn't afford to live anymore , what would there plan be then ?

nearer to 15K in the worse case scenario with us …
pip higher rate £110.40 PW = £5740 per year
lcwra £423 per month = £5076 per year
carers allowance £83.30 PW = £4331 per year
Grand total … £15,147
i'm presuming that carers allowance isn't awarded for mobility only ?
there's absolutely no way my wife can work so you can add into that sanctions that will occur within universal credit !

Outrageous , I'm on cbesa and lcwra , I'm not sure exactly how much I would loose but it would impossible to live
1 -
that's what my wife is on ….
i haven't added in the loss of cbesa because that gets deducted from our universal credit every month (the cbesa is paid as a stand alone benefit every 2 weeks)

Yeah I think I get 276ish every two weeks from cbesa and at the end of the month after deductions I get about 210 from my lcwra

Hello.
The reply I got from my MP was positive, she was kind and understanding. Here in Cornwall me and my mother have had the luck of having really genuinely kind MP's, I'll name one from the past, Julia Goldsworthy.

I think starmer and reeves have probably threatened mps who don't support the cuts. Threatened their jobs and families.

I doubt there is or there'd be any plan, and the media would barely cover it as well so the general public would be mostly unaware of what's happening.
And the sad thing is is that the government will just get away with all the deaths and suffering they've caused, just like the Tories (I think they've killed over 200,000), no arrests, no being put before a judge to be given a dressing down and then sentenced. They'll just carry on living their rich lives.
I've said it before, it's like the government, work coaches, and assessors have licences to kill, no comeuppance.

I watched one of them earlier. I've seen Dan Wootton before and like the fact that he says it as it is. He's very right wing though.
It was interesting and I must say that I did feel sorry for Victoria Starmer. The photos of her at the time of the General Election and recent photos of her, 😯 what a difference!!
Less than a year later she looks about 20 years older and really depressed. All Starmer cares about though is making things look good for the benefit of the public (the voters) 😒
After all she must have gone through with him in that time (I believe their teenaged children left with her) and he expects her to go with him to public engagements when they are separated.
It doesn't matter who he is and what the circumstances are. She has every right to rufuse to go. What a piece of work he is. 😡

Hi everyone,
I just watched silver fox regarding Nick Williams special advisor in the government. He has left and said that pip was originally planned to be frozen until their building reforms started to show growth . When they realised that is wasn’t going to happen they decided to scrap pip instead . If this is true it’s more proof if this were to go to court that cuts are simply about saving money. Sorry I can’t link but maybe someone in here can unless it’s already been posted .

I've had a very interesting situation today.
I had an asthma review last week (required by the GP) tbh it's the least of my problems.
However, a referral has been made to spa (and they ticked the box that said 'without the patient's consent').
The nurse's comments (on the form) are that she has referred me for an assessment as to how my mobility affects me getting to the surgery so she can do her asthma assessment.
I find this quite worrying.1
