If someone cant go on the internet receive or make calls with out support and is house all are connect to trauma of past event and need support.

If they receive a migration letter and on numerous occassions when makint the claim informed dwp by cmht they are housebound and all of these disabilities and inpairments and the job centre keeps making apts for id check. In which they were dvised the person s housebound and home visit is needed.

Well they closed the claim and the person has to make a new one where do they stand regarding transitional protection.

Also where do they stand legally regarding reasonable adjustments

    Hi Charlie,

Sorry to hear this. It is a very difficult situation.

Part of the commitments for Universal Credit are that you will inform the DWP of any changes online or by phone as soon as possible. If you aren't able to do that, then you should really have an appointee to manage those things on your behalf.

Reasonable adjustments have to be reasonable. They do not have to allow any request if they deem it to be unreasonable. I often find that my own needs are beyond reasonable adjustments, and I do feel that may also be the same for you. Home visits are difficult to get in many areas from what I've seen, and not possible at all in some. If they don't have enough staff or the correct insurance to make home visits then it would not reasonable to offer you one.

As for Transitional Protection, is your ESA still being paid? If that was not cancelled then you will still be eligible for TP when you start a new UC claim. If the ESA has ended then I'm afraid you're probably not entitled to it now.
