HHi Just wondering if someone is over state pension age and there on a indefinite award there over 70s. Would it affect her pip that's coming into affect from november 2026

Hi Emma, yes, once you reach State Pension age whilst on PIP, your current award switches to an "indefinite" award with "light touch" reviews.
A statement from a Labour MP has been posted on this forum, which said State Pensioners are not affected by the proposed changes. I think further proof would be nice though.
In addition, you would not be affected by the changes if they go through until your next review if already a PIP claimant.
