Please help

Would really appreciate it if someone could please help me with this as its stressing me out to no end. I've migrated to uc. First payment on 22nd may. Assessment phase is 16th April to 15th May. I want to pay my rent of £1000 for this period. And I will do this going forward. Going forward it will be easy, I'll just transfer over £1000 each time. But this first one is so hard for me to work out.
I was paying 127.40 pcm top up and housing were paying £805.48 every 4 weeks. Which together made the needed £1000 rent. (but now swapped to monthly payments, uc housing element now pay £875 pcm, and I pay £125 pcm, again making the £1000 pcm)
Housing benefit paid the last 2 weeks of £402.74, which took me up to the 30th April. I know I need to deduct this as its been paid. Making it £597.26.
But, I had also paid my top up till the 23rd May. So I need to take this off. From the 16th April to the 23rd May (38 days). I worked this out by calculating my daily top up, which was £127.40 x12 % 365 = 4.19 (well 4.188 so rounded up to £4.19). Then I multiplied the £4.19 by the 38 days and got £159.22. So now I subtracted that also from the (was £1000 but now) £597.26 and got £438.04.
So is this the amount I owe for the period of 16th April to the 15th May.
Did I calculate this in the correct way?
Would sincerely appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you in advance.

Update: I've found a different way to work it out now.
So paying from the 16th of April to 15th May (which is the same as my assessment phase) £1000 rent. But he's been paid fully by housing benefit and myself up to the 30th of April. So I just need to work out how much it is from 1st May to the 15th May. So what I did was figure out my daily rent amount (£1000 x 12 months % 365 days =£32.88) which is £32.88. £32.88 x the 15 days from 1st May to 15th May is £493.20. But because I had paid my top up in advance up to the 23rd May I need to remove that. I did that by finding my daily top up which is £4.19 (£127.40 x 12 months % 365 days =£4.19). Then £4.19 x the 23 days from 1st of May to the 23rd of May is £96.37. So take this off the rent due till 15th May (£493.20 - £96.37 =£396.83) leaves £396.83 left to pay.
Then going forward from the 16th May to 15th June will be a straight £10000
