DisabilityPlus Supporting Your PIP Applications with Specialist Reports

Why is a Mental Health Professional's Report Beneficial for Your PIP Claim?
Applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) can be a complex process. We understand that clearly communicating how your mental health condition, alongside any disabilities, affects your daily life and mobility is crucial for your application.
As a disability specialist mental health counselling service, we offer dedicated PIP assessment services and professional reports designed to provide valuable, independent evidence to support your claim.
PIP is awarded based on the challenges you face with everyday tasks and getting around because of your health condition or disability. Mental health conditions can significantly impact these areas in ways that aren’t always visible or easy to explain.
Professional Credibility. An expert opinion carries weight with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Detailed Insight. A clear explanation of how your specific mental health condition and disability impact your ability to carry out the activities assessed for PIP (like preparing food, managing medication, social interactions, planning journeys, etc.).
Understanding Fluctuations: Documentation of how your difficulties might vary from day to day or week to week. Validation of Your Experience: Corroboration of the information you’ve provided in your PIP application form.
Support from a Service that Understands Disability. Our background enables us to have a deeper understanding of the unique barriers and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.

A seemingly good offer.
But it no doubt is only available to those that have a spare £250.
From what I read most people are already in debt

Is this a councillor service or a help to fill in pip formd

Hi @charl1234
This service is legit. Scope and DisabilityPlus have been working together to try to address the lack of good mental health support for disabled people.
DisabilityPlus is offering the PIP service as an add-on to current clients and to people who aren't therapy clients.
As DisabilityPlus is a separate company, it sets its pricing, with no input from partners.

Do you need to see a disabilityplus mh worker or can they just help fill in the pip form with info you tell them? £275 did I read that price right

Hi @apples
If you aren't already a therapy client of DisabilityPlus then the price is £275. You do not need to be a therapy client to access the PIP Service.

Expensive for people who are already dependent on benefits, there's other cheaper support around such as fight4justice on fb to name one

I always recommend people shop around for everything. I know I do!

Hi @charl1234, it's all legitimate stuff. Richard is our Cerebral Palsy programme lead at Scope. We don't allow anyone to put _Scope in their username unless they are a verified member of staff ☺️
