Claimant Commitment

Good morning all,
I did my managed migration claim to UC on 11 Th April and all seems to have gone ok, for the most part. I use the journal to ask questions & confirm things, that’s worked well. I had the “confirm your identity” part by phone as I had made sure I stated that I wanted reasonable adjustments made about attending the Jobcentre.
I foolishly thought that was it, I didn’t need any other interventions, but this morning(22/5/25) I got a DWP letter from the ESA section, confirming that I now get New Style ESA etc. But it says I need to have a work coach appointment, face2face or by phone, to do the claimant commitment & be asked how my disability/illness affects my ability to work😭
Apart from the fact that they know or can easily find the reasons for my claiming ESA, that is just unnecessary hassle, waste of money & more. If it’s done by phone, how would I “sign” this agreement? I think I read some where at some point, that you just agree to inform them of any changes? Is it worth messaging them on the journal about this?
Any information on this matter will help. Thank you.

It will be a very simple and quick phone call.
Please read through this thread for information & reassurance.
UC won't be able to help with this via Journal as ESA is a separate benefit.
