Work capability assessment

I now have a date for my work capability assessment and I am deading it . Its a phone appointment and I am worried about how to explain how depression and anxiety affect me. Plus i didn't get to put on my form that I have been referred to see if I have austim/adhd as it was after I sent my form that I was referred. Would you mention it during the assessment

Hi @snowwhite89, Sorry to hear you're feeling stressed out by this, it can be really nerve-wracking to go through these assessments. Some people find it helpful to have some notes to hand so if you're not sure what to say there's something to help prompt you. You could perhaps write down some examples of things that have happened in your life where your conditions have affected you, then you've got something there to go from if you're asked any questions about it.
It's up to you what you decide to tell them, but sometimes being open and honest can be the best way. You could explain about your Autism/ADHD referral, and just let them know that you haven't had the assessment yet.
Hope it goes okay!
