I've just been served a section 21 and 48 :(

Hello all,
I've been served a Section 21 and 48, after living in the same home for 9 years.
The landlord has decided to sell the property and I must move out in 2 months.
My head is all over the place as i'm disabled, live alone and have don't have anyone to turn to. I don't have big savings and I cannot work due to my disabilities. I don't have a family or a guarantor for a new home and I know i'm going to end up homeless.
I've spent 6 days looking at private rental properties, but the moment I say i'm disabled and not working, the attitude changes and I seem to be dismissed and they do not respond back.
If someone on here has been through anything similar, please will you tell me what I should do and where I can get help.
Thank you

Hey @Jack121 I'm so sorry to hear that rubbish news. Have you spoken to anyone at Shelter? They'd be the best people to speak to for housing information and are always top notch. But hopefully some of the community will be able to suggest some other options. Fingers crossed something can done for you quickly.

Hey Albus, thank you for the advice. I've just sent Shelter an email explaining my situation and what I should do next. Hopefully they will get to me soon. The thought of being homeless terrifies me. Thanks again for the advice, it is appreciated.

Hi,
Have you applied to your local council or Housing Association?

No problem at all @Jack121 I really hope this can all be sorted asap, so you can get on with your life. Will you keep in touch? We're all cheering you on, so please drop in if you need any more support, or if you just fancied a chat. ❤️

Hello. After reading the Shelter website, I've registered to do a Triage Assessment with my local council but i'm having issues with logging into their system, so I will wait until tomorrow to contact them. Thank for for commenting though, it is appreciated.

That's so nice of you Albus, thank you. Maybe I will update the situation weekly on here and let people know how bad things are going to get. I need to prepare for the worst.
I hope all is going well with you
