LWCRA + UC earnings from PAYE whilst registered as self employed + SIPP & expenses

Does anybody have experience being on LWCRA whilst registering as self-employed and undertaking temporary short-term PAYE roles ? Do self invested pension contributions reduce calculated earnings from PAYE? Do self-employment expenses from that period also reduce the calculated earnings from PAYE if no self-employment income is earnt?
UC work coaches have been unhelpful in explaining how these things will impact me based my personal circumstances, and instead keep spouting the same generic unpersonalised information they have.

Here's some info about my specific circumstances so people can give better tailored advise:
I'm on LWCRA due to chronic and fluctuating health conditions/disabilities.
I recieve the housing element also.
I recently registered as self employed and expenses have exceeded income significantly.
I will be working for 6 weeks during the summer and my PAYE wage will be paid in 2 separate months.
I'm not eligible for the company pension enrolment due to short contract. - I aim to pay into my own Self Invested Personal Pension immediately after being paid.

Questions:
Will paying into a SIPP reduce my UC calculated PAYE earnings?
Will my expenses for my self-employment reduce my UC calculated PAYE earnings?

Afternoon @ahsihbatahs. I'm sorry you've not heard back on this yet. It's a very complicated subject, pension and tax. Have you managed to make any headway since originally posting? I'd be really interested to understand the outcome.
