MINISTERIAL REVIEW MENTIONED IN GOVERNMENT REPONSE TO WELFARE REFORM REBELLION

I noticed in the response from the Government this morning they mentioned a ministerial review of the PIP will be happening. I read somewhere that changes from this likely be brought in by Stephen Timms in 2028 when the WCA is being abolished and PIP is being used as assessent.
Can anyone tell me if they know if 2028 is likely to be when the ministerial review changes will be introduced? The person I read hasn't answered but definitely stated this is when any more changes to PIP would be likely to happen.
ANyone else any thoughts on this? Sorry if I've said this before but my review for PIP is October 2027 and I retire December 2029 so am obviously interested in timelines of all this.

Hi
The changes are scheduled to start in November 2026.
Exsisting pip claimants will be assessed under the current criteria.

Hi @axab43 you might want to keep an eye on the Scope's reply to the governments planned concessions to the green paper where members are discussing the current situation as it's unfolding 🙂
