hi my 16 yr old son got rewarded pip in may high rate on both he’s at school till he’s 19 and got a mobility car he’s got pip till 2028 will he lose it it in 2026 or keep it till the review

Hi @sarahjanegray and welcome to the community. There's been a lot of change this week, so it's been difficult to keep up with it all but as I now see it, current PIP claimants are protected with the decision for proposed reductions that were due to be implemented Autumn of 2026. These have since been parked pending the Timms review, which the Government has promised will be completed prior to Autumn 2026, and with the disabled community. So, at the moment, yes but we'll have to keep an eye on what comes out of the review.

Agree with Holly. A lot is going on, but originally any proposed changes would not affect your son until his review in 2028.
