Seeking Advice for Disability Discrimination at Chessington World of Adventures

Hi, Can anyone help. I'm seeking advice on pursuing a disability discrimination case against Chessington World of Adventures/Merlin Entertainments. As an amputee (left leg) holding a valid Ride Access Pass (RAP), I was subjected to discriminatory treatment.
Approaching the accessible entrance for the Croc Drop ride (where there was no queue and I was the only person present), staff initially denied me entry due to a non-existent "QR code." Despite my visible disability and my need for accessible entry, I was insisted upon to "walk around to the standard entrance," which was literally next to the accessible one. This caused significant and unnecessary physical exertion for me as an amputee, along with profound humiliation.
My formal complaint to Chessington highlighted clear disability discrimination and a failure to provide reasonable adjustments. Their response has been unsatisfactory, offering a generic apology but failing to acknowledge discrimination. Crucially, they introduced a new justification for their actions – a RAP pre-booking requirement – which was never communicated to me on the day of the incident by staff. This contradiction, coupled with the fact there was no queue at all, clearly demonstrates a breakdown in their procedures and potentially discriminatory staff conduct.
I believe I got a case for discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. I am looking for a solicitor experienced in disability discrimination cases to discuss taking this matter to court. Please reach out if any one has useful advise. Thank you.

Hi @captainblade I'm so sorry you've had this experience on what should haven been a pleasant day out. I'm far from a legal expert, but it's definitely worth speaking to a firm that specialises in disability discrimination. There are a few well known names that come up when I've had a look.
