Corbyn and Sultana announce new political party
They've called it Your Party, which I think is a nice name.

Apparently the name is just a placeholder for the website according to Sultana, they're wanting to "Name the party through democratic process" So keep an eye on the site I guess?

Here's a link to the website, although I guess if they do eventually change the name the link wont work any more: Your Party
I've just signed up.

I'm excited for new political parties to come as at the moment we don't have much of a choice. Labour have lost their way. Conservatives can't be trusted. Reform.. well I don't need to comment on them. Theres green party too, but if they got in power I think the whole country would be in a panic as no one would know what to do.
Hopefully we start seeing more choices when it comes to political parties.

I think I would be more concerned about who is in the background funding them
2 -
Hopefully a lot more people will leave Labour and join them.

Time will tell got a bit longer with labour yet

It's the best news I've heard politically for a long long time. Corbyn was slaughtered by the media in 2019 and testament to the nation being completely brainwashed is the fact they chose Boris Johnson.
Welcome back Jeremy. You get my vote

A hung parliament is a strong possibility.
As the PM, Starmer could struggle on, leading a minority government or scrounge around to form a viable coalition with the Lib-Dems, Green, SNP, and any new party.
This time last year, I thought Labour had at least two terms. Despite some dubious figures, the potential was there for a solid one-nation government. They blew it so quickly.
I've signed up for the new party. The unions are behind them. We an exhausted nation that needs root and branch change.

I agree, I can't see labour getting another term after what they have done. I think labour will be out the running now for a few years after next election. Its just not labour anymore and completley lost its way and turned its back on people.

Fruit & Nut Party 😂

That's a popular idea. I've seen it on FB hundreds of times. Every poster thinks they're the first
Why this daft name?
There's a strong chance of a hung parliament in 2028/29. Starmer will be screaming out to any Party that will help Labour remain in government: Lib-Dems, Green, SNP, Plaid Cymru, and YourParty. That might deliver what we hoped for in 2024: a humane left-wing government.

Before then I can see serious changes coming to the Welsh Senedd … Plaid taking more seats (North & West) Liberal Democrats getting established again (Mid) and Reform taking The Valleys
I'll be surprised if Lab & Cons get 2 handfuls each
